Valentine's Day Dinner Recipes

As mentioned last year, we have a tradition that Mark (my husband) assumes chef duties on Valentine's Day. While he is a great help in the kitchen year-round, it's the one time each year when he does an Internet search for recipes and executes a meal from start to finish all on his own.

This year he was adventurous and decided to tackle lamp chops and a chocolate soufflé. The entire meal was delicious! (Minus some butter beans I bought from a CSA, which wasn't the chef's fault.)

The recipe links if you are bookmarking ideas for a special occasion:

- Herb-Marinated Rack of Lamb - Maria Sinskey, Food Network and Belmont Butchery for the grass-fed lamb

- Rosemary Roasted Potatoes - Ina Garten, Food Network

- Chocolate Soufflé - Gourmet, February 2002

Happy (belated) Valentine's Day!
